List of Winners of WAICYOP 2022
The World Artificial Intelligence Conference Youth Outstanding Paper Award (hereinafter referred to as WAICYOP) has been successfully held for two sessions, which is well received by young scientists and has become a platform for young scholars in the field of artificial intelligence to show their talents. The activity is sponsored by the World Artificial Intelligence Conference Organizing Committee, with China Association for Science and Technology serving as the guiding unit and Shanghai Association for Science and Technology, Shanghai Science Development Foundation and Global Artificial Intelligence Academic Alliance serving as the undertaker. The evaluation of papers is guided by Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, the Information and Electronic Engineering Academic Division of Chinese Academy of Engineering and Microsoft Research Asia and supported by Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization. It is also co-sponsored by relevant academic groups and its evaluation committee is composed of famous AI experts.
In March 2022, the “Notice on Recommending Papers for WAICYOP 2022” was released. The activity aims at collecting outstanding papers of young scholars from universities, research institutes and enterprises over the world in the field of artificial intelligence. By the deadline, 155 papers from 72 well-known institutions, including internationally renowned universities, research institutes and enterprises home and abroad, had been received. And after the preliminary evaluation by experts, 20 papers were selected to enter the final evaluation.
On August 8, the final evaluation meeting of "2022 World Artificial Intelligence Conference Youth Outstanding Paper Award" was held, and Pan Yunhe, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and chairman of the National Advisory Committee of New Generation Artificial Intelligence Strategies, presided over the final evaluation meeting. The final evaluation committee voted and finally selected 10 papers for the "2022 World Artificial Intelligence Conference Youth Outstanding Paper Award" and 10 papers for the nomination award.
